Great game! Intuitive without having to look at instructions. I have reached a point I can't get past. The second boss is stuck on 78 HP and I can't bring him down any more. Also like was said below, I wish my fingers weren't jumping to three different keys to do things. (i.e, select a card, the use q to hit if it's an attack, can't select and attack be the same button? and also if q is a button why not make it also the button to discard.) just a few things there tat make it easier to play :) Thanks! Really great game and love the theme and backstories and the sounds of the monsters are horrific lol
ooo thats the complaint, yeah thats an easy fix hold on I'll update the game, which button would you like it to be? Q for attacking and discarding cards?
I just got live feedback from a friend! I will update the game and make the buttons more simple! And add more heal cards lol 😆 they struggled at the last boss
I enjoyed this a lot! I like the character art and music. The card system was interesting although it would have been helpful to automatically trash cards for points at the end of the round. I would also consolidate the buttons because having three different buttons for confirming actions was confusing. Looking forward to seeing more!
Ooo thats a good idea! About the automatic thrashing cards for points. And can you elaborate on the 3 different buttons for cornfiming actions? I just put it as enter to confirm and select the card, unless you are talking about the mini game that goes with the attack card
The game started with Space to go through dialogue, switched to Enter to select cards, then Q to attack. All of that can be on the Spacebar or Enter. "End Turn" could also be a selectable button to remove the need for more buttons. For a turn based menu like this you really just want menu navigation, confirm, and cancel to be the only keys the user needs to press.
yeah i got rid of Q and just made it to enter, made it way more easier. i can make it so that space is to end turn as well and not Z so that way the only buttons will be SPACE and ENTER :)

hmmm not sure, probably enter or space if i'm honest, but Q works if thats what you think. As long as it's one key for both :)
Oh and I beat the second boss. You just couldn't use Summons on him. Only regular attacks worked. not sure if that's his design or a bug

I've update the game to 1 button press for attacking, and fixed other bugs, thanks for the feedback and also for playing
